History

METRO TECH CORP., formally Metrology and Calibration Labs (M & C), was founded in 1981, under the By-laws of Puerto Rico. The original idea and concept was to provide calibration and maintenance services to the instruments and computerized equipment on the Industrial and Educational Market and to establish a reference laboratory for the calibration of primary standards for the Industry. Few years after the opening, METRO TECH CORP. launches its sales organization by establishing itself as a manufacturer’s representative (Metrohm USA).

METRO TECH CORP. has since, been involved in the Education Area for the Pharmaceutical, Food, Health and Oil Industries, also for the Educational Market by means of offering technical training to the industrial, laboratory, personnel, production personnel and University professors and students.

Location

We are located in a facility (8,000 Sq. feet) in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico (see attached photo), which offers greater accessibility to our customers. This facility is designated with administrative offices, sales offices, service offices, workshop, applications laboratory, metrology laboratory, quality assurance and warehouse.
